THE COSMIC COLLAPSE AS WE KNOW IT; or, THE INFINITE VAGUENESS OF WHAT COMES AFTER DISASTER, AND HOW WE COME TO SHAPE IT
Thousands of years into the future, long after Earth has given up on claiming the far reaches of space, an abandoned colony of humans struggles to come to terms with one single, irrefutable fact: that they have exhausted their home of resources, and that the death of their sun has signified a slow, painful end to humanity. Every step taken has only postponed the inevitable. As a final desperate measure to help the planet, a powerful machine was created deep within the heart, one with the power to tear open a pocket dimension known as the paracosm, a reality-warping space that grants its user the ability to morph and change the world around them. But with the untimely death of its creator, the paracosm has been left abandoned for years now; but it cannot rest so easily, not when its purpose was unfulfilled. It seeks a vessel. Fortunately, it has already found the perfect candidate: Kell Ezradi, a pilot who once fell into a paracosmic wormhole that stole their memories, desperate for answers and an escape from their life... possibly because they accidentally made themself the most wanted criminal in the galaxy.
